I’m sorry for crashing your virtual economy during one of my experiments! I was able to learn economics through experience thanks to y’all while working in the “real money trade” industry.

I would create full back stories and personalities for all my characters. To me they were my friends. I wrote control software so that I could run 5 man Dungeons with me playing as the Tank and my software controlling the rest.

When Blizzard’s ban wave hit, I was in my room and watched all of my accounts log off at the same time and got a sinking feeling in my stomach.

Every one of my accounts… was “permanently banned” and I just sat there in shock. Everything that meant something to me, my bots I considered friends and my guild that every one was nice to me in… all gone.

My entire personal life taken from me with absolutely no chance of getting it back.

I always knew this was possible. I was obsessed with Blizzard. The storylines of their games was legendary and had such an impact on me that I still vividly remembered the epic battle where Alleria and the other heros of Warcraft 2 sacrificed themselves to close the portal to Azeroth before the Orc world was destroyed… on the PlayStation 1. I thought they were dead. Then 10 years later when Burning Crusade launched, not only did Alleria and them survive; her and Turalyon had an adult son!

I cheered and cried with joy.

The gameplay was also second to none and the mechanics of the game provided endless opportunities for experimentation and creativity. Though Fury Warriors and Rogues were considered the highest melee DPS, I love proving people wrong in the most unbelievable ways.

So I studied the math, did the calculations and created a 2H Orc Warrior named Kruskan (After D&D’s Krusk).

In 40 man raids my DPS was higher than the Fury Warriors, the Rogues, the Shadow Priests and Mages. Every DPS build was getting beat by a 2H Warrior… which they said “was not possible“.

At work as a software engineer, when anyone would ask me if something was “possible” my response was always the same.

Including a 2H Warrior that can out-DPS all the best DPS builds… 😈

Who was now gone forever… along with my desire to play the game. I tried to restart with a Bloodelf Squad… but I didn’t get past level 10 before getting bored and sad.

My post as Andeasdr was my “emotional closure” and goodbye to a community I loved.

Finally free from the requirement to hide what I did for a living, and wanting to unleash hell on all the whiners and complainers that said Blizzard wasn’t doing anything to botters… I decided to set the record straight.

Both sides maintained secrecy to gain an advantage, and performed research and reconnaissance to understand the other sides tactics.

Blizzard was next level and the best in the world at preventing and banning cheaters. So were the guys creating ISXWarden and ISXWoW who became my programming mentors. They weren’t just geniuses, they were they best minds in software development I ever met.

I went by Tenshi Chi in that community.

The Ban Wave that hit my accounts was something they timed and planned to happen right after they won their lawsuit against WoWGlider to discourage others.

The Game was Over

When the creator of ISXWarden started reverse engineering the update to update his, he found a personal message. Blizzard Developers on the Warden team added a YouTube link into the Cheat Detection code.
