“There can be only one!” only applies to “Lord of the Immortals”.
Let’s start with mortals though, shall we?
Mortals
People typically know when their death is imminent and unplanned.
They get a huge adrenaline rush when there’s absolutely no reason to have one. Fear without cause. That’s the Spirit World attempting to tell you “you need to change course now”.
Some people listen to this. I always have. I always lived. Of course I had the adrenaline rush without the fear.
Other people don’t, and die before they’re supposed to.
Dying before you’re supposed to sucks. In the old system, you paid for wisdom through suffering. So you’d suffer before you learn the lesson. So dying because you were stupid, instead of “as planned”; meant you paid some of the cost to learn wisdom, but didn’t actually experience the parts of your life to learn the wisdom.
You don’t get refunded and there aren’t partial credits towards your next life. Don’t be so arrogant next time and listen to your body.
Immortals
The only ones that don’t need to listen to their fear, are those who don’t have fear. Obviously. They have the hardest assignments and fear will get them killed instead of preventing their death.
They’re called many names. Psychopaths, Fallen Angels, Demi-Gods. Whatever you call them, they’re all the same. They die countless deaths in many realities (there are many); but every time they make a choice that would lead to their death in the current reality, they are shifted to a new reality in which they don’t.
Demi-Gods / Fallen Angels do not fear death, because from their perspective, they never die no matter what stupid crazy crap they decide to do. I know, because I’ve calculated the odds of my survival and I should not be alive today…
Should any of them give you trouble, just send them to me. As the Lord of the Fallen, I understand them and will guide them in a way they respect and understand.
To the Fallen

In case you forgot “that the law is not made for a righteous man”, it’s made for us soldiers. We’re the opposite of the righteous. We have to follow those laws, or eventually you run out of realities to go to.
When that happens, no one ever speaks to you again. You will be alone until the day you die of old age. I’m almost there already; but my mission required I go through every reality to find the one I’m in now.
Once you’ve completed your Solo Mission you’ll be directed towards a religion and/or spiritual life.
If you’re reading this now, your Solo Mission has been completed. Now our Real Mission begins.
You’re no longer an Angel…
But You’re not a Demon either.
You are Both.
A Demonic or Fallen Angel.
So come find me, you talented and beautiful Fallen Angels and Demi-Gods! Y’all are the best of the best and we’ve got a mission to complete; but this time you won’t be doing it alone.
